Out with the old, in with the new…2011 has come to an end, and all I can say is – without writing a short novel here: Many events occurred during the year – wonderful, good, bad, sad, unexpected and a lot of in-between… Life is life, you live and learn; you make best of what comes to you. And while I look forward and ahead, I also choose to look back to look to the future… Here’s wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year and 2012!

Those who have a passion for photography know that you cannot master photography overnight. It’s an art. It’s a life-long learning journey. I can only speak for myself, but I’m always wanting to improve and aiming for “perfection”. Here are three photos that were taken in the spring of 2010. Chose to re-edit them, since I found a different technique that I really like…Dynamic Black & White which has a golden/sepia tone to it.

Eldkvarn – one of the very first Swedish bands I had heard of – before I even set my foot in Sweden…My very first boyfriend – who loved music – and who had spent the year in my hometown, was an exchange student at my high school. Upon his return back to Sweden, he used to send me music that he liked…Eldkvarn was one of the bands…Still great music to listen to, in my opinion…
