Hi Antoinette
I came across your blog through someone else’s and I thought I had just about uncovered all the expats blogging in and about Sweden! It was a nice surprise to find you and read about your life here in the land of ice and snow.
I’ll be back
Nicole
Hi Nicole!
Great to see that I am getting some traffic to my blog
… I know I should be updating it more frequently… But I do try
… If you are on Facebook, and if you want, you can always send me a note or friend request… Just look me up, and I will respond there, too.
All the best,
Antoinette
Hey!
I came across your blog through someone else’s and was so delighted to read about your experinces in Sweden. I’ve moved to Karlstad from NYC to be with my sambo and am finding really difficult making friends….any tips on how to network in Sweden??? Thanks so much!
Best,
Victoria
Hello Victoria and welcome/välkommen to Karlstad, Sweden! There are many Americans and English-speakers from Canada, South Africa, Australia living in Karlstad/Hammarö. We have get-togethers once in awhile. You are welcomed to contact me through Facebook: Antoinette McIntyre-Andersson, point2point international and mcandersson’s photography and People to People International Karlstad Värmland Sweden. Tomorrow (Thursday March 25th) The Anglo-Swedish Society in cooperation with PTPI Karlstad will have an American Night at the Leprechaun on Östra Torggatan. That could one get together you two can start with… Otherwise get in touch with me, and I will gladly meet you over a cup of coffee. Let me know, and perhaps I can round up some more Americans (I know you probably want to meet Swedes
, but we can start there!). Hey, I am pretty ashamed of not updating this more often. I do have an excuse though… just started a company, and working hard to build it up! Take care and don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. All the best, Antoinette
